I used to fear death
Held my breath and lit another cigarette
I lived for the nights I’d forget
As whisky drowned out my regrets
Faceless girls as I faced this world
Kiss and tell, as we tasted hell
Abusive trust, a useless love
Walk on by with an intrusive strut
I used to fear death
Now I fear love, luck, and life
So, I fill my time with a lust for vice
